A Glimpse into the Life of Dallas Legend Linda Gray

Linda Gray, the iconic actress who stole hearts with her portrayal of Sue Ellen Ewing in the hit TV series Dallas, was recently spotted running errands in Valencia, California. The 81-year-old actress made a low-key public appearance, marking her first sighting in three years.

Gray’s outing was a far cry from her glamorous days as a Dallas star. She was seen shopping at Costco, where she picked up some fruit and a cozy blanket. Dressed in comfortable black sweatpants and a tan hoodie, she went about her errands with ease, pushing a cart and loading her purchases into her car.

With a career spanning decades, Linda Gray has solidified her place in the entertainment industry. Her iconic role in Dallas, which she played from 1978 to 1991, cemented her status as a household name. She has also appeared in various films, reprised her role in Dallas reunions, and showcased her theater skills in productions like The Graduate.

In addition to her work on Dallas, Gray has collaborated with notable stars like Sylvester Stallone and appeared in various TV shows and movies. Her more recent work includes her role in the Dallas remake, which aired from 2012 to 2014.

Despite her many accomplishments, Linda Gray has faced her share of challenges, including the heartbreaking loss of her son Jeff Thrasher last year. Thrasher, who was 56 at the time of his passing, had been battling leukemia. Gray’s fans and colleagues rallied around her, offering support and condolences during this difficult time.

Jeff Thrasher followed in his mother’s footsteps, working in the entertainment industry as a TV director and producer. His credits include shows like Junior Chef Showdown and The Amazing Race Canada. Linda Gray’s daughter, Kelly Sloane, is also an actress, and Gray is a proud grandmother to Kelly’s two children.
