In 1983, Patricia Clarke gave birth to a baby boy who would make headlines across the country. Kevin Robert Clark weighed an astonishing 16 pounds at birth, making him the largest baby ever born at Community Memorial Hospital in New Jersey.
As a result of his enormous size, Kevin’s early life was marked by attention and curiosity. He couldn’t fit into standard-sized cribs or baby clothes, but fortunately, he was perfectly healthy. His size soon caught the attention of the media, and he appeared on popular TV shows such as “Saturday Night Live” and “Good Morning America.”
As Kevin grew up, he continued to tower above his peers. By the time he was 12, he stood at an impressive 5 feet 7 inches, and by junior high, he had reached 6 feet 5 inches. Kevin’s height became a defining feature of his life, with people constantly asking him about it.
Despite the attention, Kevin has learned to live with his extraordinary height. He even jokes about it, saying, “I like to joke that I’m 5-foot-21.” Today, Kevin is 39 years old and stands at an incredible 6 feet 9 inches tall. He lives with his wife, who is 6 feet tall, and their Great Dane.
Kevin’s story is a testament to the challenges and opportunities that come with being exceptional. While it can’t have been easy to grow up in the public eye, Kevin seems to have taken it in stride. His confidence and good humor are an inspiration to anyone who has ever felt like they don’t quite fit in.
