A Mother’s Shocking Discovery at Burger King

What started as a simple trip to Burger King turned into a nightmare for Tiffany Floyd and her four-year-old daughter. The Western New York mom had stopped at a drive-thru for a quick meal, but the experience quickly took a disturbing turn.

After handing her daughter a kid’s meal, Floyd heard her say, “Mom, I don’t want ketchup.” Thinking the order was wrong, Floyd took the bag back—only to find blood smeared all over the food. At first, she thought it was ketchup, but the reality was far worse.

Floyd immediately contacted the Burger King manager, who admitted that an employee had cut their hand before bagging the food. The manager offered a refund, but Floyd was far from satisfied. She also reported the incident to the local health department, though she was told little could be done.

Burger King confirmed that the Gettzville location was temporarily closed for deep cleaning and employee retraining. However, Floyd remains deeply upset. Her daughter now refuses to eat, fearing there might be blood in her food, and will need monthly bloodwork as a precaution.

Floyd shared her story on TikTok, where it has been viewed over six million times. She hopes her experience serves as a warning to others to always check their food before eating. “It never occurred to me that I should be looking more closely at my food,” she said.
