Tattoos have become a popular means of self-expression, allowing individuals to showcase their unique personalities. While some people opt for a small, discreet tattoo, others, like Tristan Weigelt, take it to the extreme, transforming their entire body into a vibrant work of art.
Weigelt, a 26-year-old tattoo apprentice, has made headlines with his remarkable transformation, revealing what he looked like just five years ago. The contrast is staggering, with 95 percent of his body now covered in intricate tattoos.
Weigelt’s journey began when he was 20, and he admits that looking at old photos of himself without tattoos is a surreal experience. “It’s kind of weird looking at myself without all the tattoos,” he confessed. Despite his radical transformation, Weigelt insists that he still feels the same on the inside.
Among his numerous tattoos, Weigelt revealed that the most painful ones were those on his face and head, likening the sensation to being scraped with a metal brush. The process took six full-day sessions, each lasting between five and six hours, with the pain level reaching an eight out of ten.
Interestingly, Weigelt’s tattoos don’t carry any hidden meanings or messages. He simply enjoys the art form and has spent a staggering $50,000 on his body art over the past five years.
For those contemplating getting a tattoo, Weigelt offers sage advice: “Get what you love and what makes sense to you. Don’t worry about what others might think – if you like it, then get it.” His incredible transformation serves as a testament to the power of self-expression and the importance of embracing one’s individuality.
