Martha Stewart Makes History as Oldest Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Cover Model

At 81 years young, Martha Stewart is proving that age is just a number. The business magnate and TV producer has become the oldest woman to ever appear on the cover of Sports Illustrated Swimsuit, gracing the annual 2023 issue.

Stewart was one of four models chosen for the publication’s cover, alongside Megan Fox, Kim Petras, and Brooks Nader. She showcased her impressive physique in ten different swimsuits, calling the experience a “historic moment” for herself and other older women.

Stewart emphasized that age is not a determining factor in terms of success or friendship. Instead, it’s about how people think, act, and live their lives. She also spoke about the importance of “good living,” which includes a healthy diet, regular exercise, and proper skin care.

Before the shoot, Stewart shared that she prepared by cutting out bread and pasta from her diet and attending Pilates sessions every other day. She joked that posing in front of everyone wearing swimsuits was a little “odd,” but the end result was well worth it.
