Country singer Billy Ray Cyrus has officially wed his partner, Australian artist Firerose, in an intimate ceremony. The couple’s whirlwind romance began in 2022, following Billy Ray’s divorce from his wife of 28 years, Tish Cyrus.
The story of how Billy Ray and Firerose met is a fascinating one. Thirteen years ago, Firerose auditioned for a role on the hit TV show Hannah Montana, where Billy Ray starred alongside his daughter Miley.
Although she didn’t land the part, Billy Ray was impressed by her talent and introduced her to producers.
Over the years, they remained friends until Billy Ray asked Firerose to take their relationship to the next level after his divorce. She moved in with him in August 2022, and shortly after, he proposed.
