Eddie Murphy recently tied the knot with his beloved in a picturesque Caribbean ceremony. Newly released photos and details of the special event capture the couple’s beautiful day, which they celebrated with loved ones.
Hollywood icon Eddie Murphy, 63, made a dapper groom when he wed his beloved partner of 12 years, Australian model Paige Butcher, 44, who made a stunning bride. Their island wedding took place on Tuesday last week, July 9, at the Four Seasons in Anguilla.

The newlywed couple, who share two kids, Max Charles and Izzy Oona Murphy, exchanged “I dos” in front of their close friends and family, including nearly all 10 of Eddie’s children. The private ceremony marked the first wedding for Paige and the second for the “Coming to America” star.
Beautiful photos of the event, taken by photographer Rich Lander and shared by various sources online, display heartwarming moments from the intimate celebration.
A particularly striking image shows Eddie and Paige posing for a picture underneath their gorgeous wedding altar, which was decorated with white flowers. The image also featured their family in the background, watching the duo with nothing but love and happiness.
For her big day, Paige opted for a beautifully classic wedding gown designed by Mira Zwilinge, which includes a dramatic, long veil.
The gown, called the “Jamie” is strapless, corseted, and embroidered with lace. It also features a tulle bow at the open back and beaded dangling branches.

Her dashing beau, on the other hand, donned a dapper ivory white Plume suit, hailing from the esteemed Italian fashion brand Brioni. Made from silk gabardine, Eddie’s suit featured a lightweight deconstructed jacket with light shoulder padding and trousers with classic belt loops.
As put by Brioni’s online web store, the actor’s ensemble is “characterized by a contemporary feel and a light-as-air construction, the Plume model feels like a second skin and it’s effortlessly chic.”
Adding an extra layer of swagger to his look, which was styled by Alia Simone, Eddie paired his luxurious suit with white $60 Vans called the Classic Slip-on Tumble Shoe.
Other photos of the luxe beach wedding depict touching moments the bride and groom shared with their family. A video taken at the event shows the breathtaking setting of the beachfront wedding reception.
Walking down the steps of the resort to the beach, footage showed a beautifully set-up dining table, decked out with strings of light overhead. Eddie and Paige’s loved ones sat at the table set with stunning crockery, as they listened to the emcee saying it was time to cut the cake.

Giving Instagram followers a closer look at the table settings, Eddie’s son, Christian Murphy, who also posted a beautiful picture of his dad, siblings, and stepmother on his Instagram Story, shared a snap of his name card and dinner menu.
Another video captured a sweet moment when Paige, Eddie, and their kids made their way to the center of the beach to take pictures while eye-catching, colorful fireworks went off, illuminating the evening sky. Guests watched on as the bride and groom posed for the camera while a sweet island melody played in the background.
An endearing image shows Eddie surrounded by four of his sons, who all rocked coordinated looks. The loving patriarch stands in the middle of his kids, with his hands placed on Max’s shoulders, as they all pose for the camera, standing in front of the ocean.
Gushing over the magical event, the wedding photographer penned a lengthy caption alongside one of the photos he took. “One of my favorite places on earth somehow became even more special this past week when I was lucky enough to photograph the wedding of Eddie Murphy & Paige Butcher,” Rich began.
Continuing, he expressed, “These two celebrated with their beautiful families on the island of Anguilla at @fsanguilla with a small ceremony at sunset […] It couldn’t have been a more perfect, intimate evening. So grateful to have been the one to capture these moments for these two and their family. Not sure how my next visit to the islands will top this but I’d be more than happy to find out!”

Eddie and Paige have entered a new chapter in their lives as husband and wife after dating since 2012. They got engaged in 2018, two months before welcoming their second child, Max. Eddie Murphy’s representative confirmed the joyous news to a popular media outlet when it happened in September.
A day before the rep announced the news, Paige, who was pregnant with Max then, had been seen sporting a stunning diamond ring on her engagement finger.
She donned the large ring, black leggings, a black top, black sneakers, and sunglasses while picking up a rug at HomeGoods in Los Angeles.
